I was born on September 14, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida. My educational journey took me to Yale University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in history, and later, I graduated from Harvard Law School. Serving in the U.S. Navy from 2004 to 2010 as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, I was deployed to Iraq to advise U.S. Navy SEALs. In 2012, I began my congressional career, representing Florida's 6th district for three terms, known for my conservative positions on various issues. On January 8, 2019, I assumed the role of the 46th Governor of Florida, winning a closely contested election. I've also been an advocate for education initiatives, environmental policies, and have decided to run for the 2024 Presidential Candidacy.
